Pastor Politics

The aim of this project is to help pastors develop a truly biblical and cohesive understanding of how to lead their people in everything political. Few questions land on a pastor's desk with more heat and less clarity, and too much of what's available pulls in one of two unhelpful directions — baptizing a partisan platform, or retreating into a false neutrality.

Through a series of essays, I'm working to think clearly — and to help others think clearly — about the church and its engagement with all things political: what Scripture actually requires of us, where Christian liberty leaves room to disagree, and how a pastor can lead his people with conviction and charity at the same time.
